PHPUnit is the most widely used testing framework in the PHP ecosystem. Its goal is to provide and maintain a solid, up-to-date foundation for developer-side testing in PHP.
Ongoing work includes keeping pace with every new PHP release, fixing bugs promptly, improving the documentation, and implementing new features that enhance the developer experience and support modern testing practices.
I am Sebastian Bergmann, the creator and lead maintainer of PHPUnit and I review and validate every change that goes into PHPUnit. Each release is made with the knowledge that it will be installed hundreds or thousands of times within minutes.
Your support pays for this responsibility, not for code.
