PHPUnit is the most widely used testing framework in the PHP ecosystem. Its goal is to provide and maintain a solid, up-to-date foundation for developer-side testing in PHP.

Ongoing work includes keeping pace with every new PHP release, fixing bugs promptly, improving the documentation, and implementing new features that enhance the developer experience and support modern testing practices.

I am Sebastian Bergmann, the creator and lead maintainer of PHPUnit. If PHPUnit is part of your workflow, I would like to ask for your support. I will continue maintaining and developing PHPUnit regardless of the level of sponsorship I receive. That said, your support would allow me to dedicate more focused time to the project, rather than fitting it around evenings and weekends.

Sponsorship does not grant influence over the project's roadmap. Features, bug fixes, and priorities are not for sale. They are decided based on what is best for the project and its users.
